When does the raffle start and end?

Tickets purchased between 17 August 2021 and 11:59pm 30 September 2021 will be eligible for the Grand Prize draw.

Tickets purchased before 11:59pm, 8 September 2021 will also be eligible for the Early Bird Prize draw.

Tickets purchased before 11:59pm, 17 September 2021 will also be eligible for the Bonus Prize draw.

All times are in Western Standard Time.

What are the prizes and how many are there?

There are 3 prizes to be won:

Grand Prize - $50,000 Cash or a Scout 15 Caravan

Early Bird Prize - $10,000 Cash or a Tasmanian Holiday

Bonus Prize - $5,000 Cash

When will the winning tickets be drawn?

Grand Prize – 5 October 2021

Early Bird Prize – 10 September 2021

Bonus Prize – 20 September 2021

All draws will take place at 10am (WST) at the Variety WA office.

When will the winners be announced?

Grand Prize – 8 October 2021

Early Bird Prize – 13 September 2021

Bonus Prize – 21 September 2021

Results will be published at www.varietyraffles.com.au

How will winners be notified?

Winners will be called via telephone and then officially notified via email shortly after the prize draw has been completed. 

Where do funds raised go?

All proceeds benefit Variety - the Children’s Charity, supporting Western Australian children who are sick, disadvantaged or live with disability. By purchasing a ticket, you will help WA kids in need to overcome the obstacles they face, providing much needed mobility, health, education and recreation equipment and programs, right around the state. How many tickets will be sold?

Only 4,000 tickets will be available.

How much do tickets cost? 

Tickets are $50 each. 

Can tickets win multiple prizes?

Early Bird prize and Bonus prize winning tickets will be returned to the main prize draw, and are still eligible to win the Grand prize.

          

Am I eligible to buy a ticket?

Entry is open to all residents, Australia-wide, aged 18 years or older. Tickets cannot be purchased under the name of, or for, a minor.

Unfortunately, you cannot buy a ticket using an overseas address. However, you may wish to purchase a ticket from overseas using a family member’s address, provided it is located within Australia. 

How can I purchase a ticket?

Tickets can be purchased via the following: 

  • Via credit card (Mastercard, Visa, AMEX )or PayPal online at www.varietyraffle.com.au
  • Over the phone on 9355 3655
  • Via the post, PO Box 669, Victoria Park WA, 6979
  • In person at our office, 102 Burswood Road, Burswood by prior arrangement.    

Are tickets tax deductible? 

Raffle ticket purchases are not classified as donations and are therefore are not tax deductible. 

I purchased my ticket but haven’t received it yet, what do I do?

Tickets will be emailed to you within 4 hours of a successful purchase. Make sure to check your spam or junk folder. Page 1 of the attachment is your payment receipt and Page 2 will state your ticket number/s in the top left corner of each ticket.  If you still haven't received your ticket, please call (08) 9355 3655 or email Variety WA on  info@varietywa.org.au 

If you do not have an email address, please call Variety to purchase a ticket over the phone and we will post your ticket to you. 

When processing my credit card details what is the “add a little extra to help cover fees” for?

Did you know that there are fees associated with all online transactions? You can help cover some of the fees associated with your transaction by leaving the “add a little extra to help cover fees” tick-box ticked. You can remove this small fee by simply ‘unchecking’ the tick box. Unfortunately we are unable to refund merchant fees processed in error.

Can I make a tax deductioble donation to Variety - the Children’s Charity?

Yes, donations are very gratefully received, any donation amount of $2 or more is tax deductible. Donations are not refundable. You can make a donation online at www.varietywa.org.au

Are the prizes donated?

No, prizes are not donated. Variety WA negotiates the best possible prices from prize suppliers. If your business would like to donate a prize for an upcoming raffle or you are interested in corporate support please call us on 9355 3655.

I received a promotional email about the raffle. How did you get my details?

You may have attended one of our events in the past, or supported someone who did. Alternatively, you may have donated to Variety WA or entered into a previous Variety WA raffle.

How do I know my credit card and personal details are secure?

All personal details collected for the Variety Raffle are held and used in strict accordance with our Privacy Policy which can be viewed by clicking here


All credit card details and transactions are processed using a bank approved, secure payment gateway. No credit card numbers are stored. 

Can I remain anonymous if I win? 

As part of our Terms & Conditions, Variety may publish the first name and suburb location of the Grand Prize winner and may use such information for promotional purposes.
