FAQs
What is the 4WD Adventure?
add remove

The 4WD Adventure is a week long adventure, taking 4WD vehicles and their owners off the bitumen and onto some of Australia's most exciting off-road tracks. The event will bring you the very best of WA's magnificent scenery, tracks, private lands, local food prepared by aexecutive caterers, and of course - plenty of fun and entertainment.

Whether we're staying on the coast or at a secluded resort, there are accommodation options to suit every budget. However - some options like chalets and cabins are limited, so make sure you book early to avoid disappointment!

You can enter as a car of 2- 4 participants. As well as entry fees, participants fundraise for Variety and must meet the minimum fundraising target to go on the event. Along the way, you'll get to visit schools to see first-hand how fundraising helps kids in need.

As with all Variety events, safety is a major consideration. Our experienced support team includes 4WD experts to help with recovery and mechanical issues, a doctor and private chef.

The Variety 4WD Adventure caters for both the experienced and inexperienced four wheel drive enthusiasts, with options to take an easier track on the more difficult terrain.

The Variety 4WD Adventure is Variety WA’s second highest fundraiser behind our flagship event, the Variety Bash.

What is and isn't tax deductible?
add remove

Monies donated to Variety are generally tax deductible if they are an unfettered donation (if the donor has received no value in return for the donation). For example, entrance fees, raffle tickets and auction items are not tax-deductible, while donations made towards your fundraising page are tax deductible (if you haven't promised anything in return for them).

Variety assumes no liability for action taken as a result of these guidelines. In any instances where an entrant or a sponsor is uncertain of the tax implications of their involvement, they should consult their own accountant or tax adviser.
