Join Australia's Most Iconic Charity Motoring Event

The Variety Bash is Australia's longest-running and most iconic charity motoring event, offering a unique blend of adventure and philanthropy. Participants in this event traverse remote and regional areas, raising essential funds to support children who are sick, disadvantaged, or living with disability.

Each year, the Variety Bash features a colourful convoy of creatively themed cars and a route that takes participants through some of Australia's most stunning and remote landscapes, covering diverse terrains from outback tracks to coastal roads.

The true highlight for many participants is the opportunity to witness firsthand the impact of their fundraising. As we travel, we visit local communities and schools, delivering Variety Grants that provide life-changing equipment and programs to children in need.

What Can You Expect?

Fun Days and Nights

Get into the sprit of the Bash by joining in on the fun dress-up days and themed nights, as well as our famous fun stops, along the way. Each day will have a few surprises in store, so let your hair down and get ready for a whole lot of fun!

Make a Difference

Take part in grant presentations to regional communities and kids living with disability, illness or experiencing disadvantage. We’ll also show plenty of Bash love to small businesses and support rural economies along the way.

On-Road Support

Our hats go off to the amazing support team who have your backs every step of the way. Mechanical and medical support are ready to assist when needed - your safety is a priority, and we want the event to be a worry-free experience!

New to the Variety Bash?

Get your team together and register!

You will need to choose a "Car Captain". The Car Captain registers the team and completes the required information, including the crew details. Remember, everyone will need a valid Working With Children Check, this can be provided after registration. 

Crew Member Details

Your Car Captain will share the team registration link with the crew members to register. Alternatively, Crew Members can also click 'Register' above and select your car/team when prompted. 

Event and Fundraising Resources

You will have access to a whole suite of Event and Fundraising resources online via your teams and individual fundraising pages.

How your fundraising helps

The Variety Bash is all about ‘doin’ it for the kids!’  Your fundraising efforts will have a direct impact on Western Australian children living with disabilities, illnesses, or experiencing disadvantage. Your contributions provide life-changing equipment and programs that make a world of difference.

With the rising cost of living and more and more families needing our help, let’s set a new fundraising record in 2025!

A meaningful part of the Bash will be granting to kids along the way. There will be individual grants to support kids with disability or illness, and we’ll also be supporting schools and community groups. If this is your first Bash, get ready for the overwhelming excitement at schools as the children come to greet us - it’s quite special! We can’t wait to bring you along for this amazing event that will not only be an epic ride, but also full of heart and a real sense of purpose.
